The ProTech Satellite 2.0 is an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded by NOAA to support the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and other NOAA Line and Staff Offices. The overall objectives of the ProTech program are to:
- Obtain high-quality professional, technical, and scientific services
- Develop an industrial base of partners
- Develop and maintain performance-based contracts
- Contribute to the NOAA mission
The mission and objectives of the primary users of the Satellite 2.0 Domain vehicle are related to satellite and observation activities and the collection, preservation, and dissemination of information and services derived therefrom. NESDIS is dedicated to providing timely access to global environmental data from satellites and other sources to promote, protect, and enhance the Nation’s economy, security, environment, and quality of life. The services provided under the ProTech Satellite 2.0 will support NESDIS, and international partnership facilities and sites worldwide.
