EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – On Behalf of the California Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Volunteer Tom Lasser presented Ajay Handa, James Magdaleno, Reva Handa and Nagahiro of Columbus Technologies and Services each a Patriot Award April 17, 2018. Supervisors Handa, Magdaleno, Handa and Nagahiro were presented the award because of the extraordinary support they provide their California Army National Guard employee, 2nd Lt. Victor Hill.
The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Jim Combs, California ESGR state chair. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”
