All of us at Columbus are devastated to see the worsening COVID-19 crisis in India. Given the severity of the situation, we feel compelled to act in this time of need.
For many years, Columbus has partnered with the Caring Hands for Children (CHC) Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides essential support to children living in extreme poverty across India. CHC has launched an ambitious fundraising campaign to provide relief for families and children afflicted by the COVID crisis.
CHC plans to provide food kits, oxygen concentrators, and vaccination relief across the country. With a focus on those fighting extreme poverty, CHC is truly leading the frontline efforts to help as many as possible with the least available resources to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Unlike many organizations, CHC is run by volunteers which ensures that all dollars donated are spent directly on services at the ground level. This, coupled with our longstanding relationship with CHC, led Columbus to donate $10,000 to help achieve CHC’s fundraising goal.
