Columbus is proud to be a team member of Kelly Government Solutions (KGS) Team, which was awarded a five-year base Contract by the National Institute of Health (NIH) to provide scientific, technical, and professional support services. The award represents a successful re-compete effort for KGS, and enables Columbus to provide essential services to the NIH. The National Institutes of Health, an operating division within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research.
Composed of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs), the NIH provides leadership and financial support to researchers across the United States and throughout the world. The STOPS Contract is estimated in value at approximately $600M, with currently more than 1,700 support personnel supporting the 27 ICs and the Office of the Director. As one of KGS’ strategic partners, Columbus focuses on providing support in the areas of Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Research, Health Care, Clinical Data, etc. These domains areas leverage our past performance experience and expertise gained from supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
