Columbus is proud to announce that as a member of the Lynker team, it has been awarded the NOAA Mission Information Technology Services (NMITS) contract. The contract is a multi-award, ID/IQ with a 5-year base period and 5-year option period with a maximum value of $2.1 Billion. It will support the full life-cycle scope of Information Technology services and support capabilities across all NOAA Line Offices (the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service; the National Weather Service; the National Ocean Service; the National Marine Fisheries Service; and the Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research).

Task orders issued under NMITS may have a period of performance of up to 60 months past the ordering period, so work may be supported up to a maximum of 15 years on the contract. NMITS enables all offices and programs across NOAA to receive IT core management and cutting-edge services that support the government through system design, development, fielding, operations, and sustainment of the IT infrastructure and scientific computing for atmospheric studies, oceanic services, public safety and commerce support, and natural resource conservation missions. Columbus is pleased and excited to be part of Lynker’s winning team and proud to continue our legacy of support to the vital and nationally important missions of NOAA.
