William Bennett serves as director of finance at Columbus Technologies. As the senior financial official for the company, he brings more than 30 years’ experience with large and small contractors in the federal services market. Before joining Columbus in 2008, Mr. Bennett served as finance manager for a division of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions. Prior, he was corporate controller for User Technology Associates, Inc., where he was an integral member of the management team that oversaw the sale of the company to BAE Systems. In his role, Mr. Bennett was instrumental to the successful integration of the company’s financial operations into a division of BAE Systems. Prior, he worked for 10 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation (formerly Martin Marietta Corporation), serving as corporate controller and finance director for several divisions within the company.
Before transitioning to the federal services market, Mr. Bennett served for four years as a senior auditor with Arthur Young and Company, specializing in financial services audits. He graduated from the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a B.B.A in business administration/finance concentration.
