As vice president of Aerospace, Mr. Tehranian is responsible for the operation, business development and program growth of Columbus’ Aerospace division. He brings over 20 years of technical and management experience in science, engineering, and information technology (IT) with proven ability to manage diverse and complex programs supporting National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and Department of Defense (DoD). Prior to joining Columbus, Mr. Tehranian held various executive positions at several small and large companies, including Avaya and Camber.
Mr. Tehranian’s experience resides in the application of best practices in the areas of software development life cycle, end-to-end systems integration, enterprise architecture, operations andmaintenance, satellite mission ground systems, FISMA/NIST compliance, and cloud computing. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in computer science from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology.
