Dr. Mina Samii is the executive vice president of Aerospace at Columbus Technologies and Services. She leads all operations and business growth for the company’s Aerospace division, including work performed by over 400 scientists, engineers, and technologists supporting NASA, NOAA, FAA and other federal agencies.
Before joining Columbus, Dr. Samii was the executive vice president and chief operating officer for ERT Inc., a science and technology solution provider supporting space and environmental missions. Prior, she was the vice president and general manager for the Science, Engineering and Technology Solutions division at Computer Sciences Corporation, where she led a team of more than 2,000 to support several federal agencies.
Dr. Samii holds a Ph.D. in physics from the SUNY Albany and performed post-doctoral research at the Johns Hopkins University. She has published more than 20 professional papers and received the NASA Human Space Flight Awareness and the Women in Aerospace (WIA) Leadership awards. Dr. Samii has served on the board of directors of the Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR), on the program committee for the Goddard Memorial Symposium, and on the board of directors of WIA.
