Raytheon Information Systems

Raytheon Information Systems (RIS) provides software, web and IT infrastructure solutions for several organizations in Southern California including NASA/JPL and Raytheon Fullerton Operations (Network Centric Systems and Thales Group).

Columbus supports both Raytheon's Pasadena and Fullerton operations by supporting functions from senior systems administration to software development.

Columbus has received numerous awards from RIS such as: "outstanding accomplishments in the development of the ground data system for the MLS instrument for the Earth Observing System Aura Mission".

Raytheon Pasadena Operations

  • Science Data Systems Implementation and Operations (SDSIO) Contract / End Customer: NASA JPL
  • Primary focus is on high-end UNIX/Linux-based computing infrastructures and data centers, including high-performance in Linux Compute Clusters with over 1,200 nodes supported

Raytheon Fullerton Operations

  • End Customers: NATO, State of Florida, etc.
  • Primary focus is on software solutions with an emphasis on support of ADA-based applications and JAVA-based web environments
