Columbus is featured in a NASA publication titled: Curiosity and NASA's Mission to Mars: A Case for Small Business. The publication features many of the small businesses who contributed to the success in landing the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL).

Columbus is featured for on-going support at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for contributions to MSL including a wide variety of design, build, assembly, and test support functions for mechanical and electrical systems, as well as engineering, development, and deployment of flight and ground software and computing environments. Columbus also provided support to MSL as NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) instrument postdelivery flight software.
