On March 27 2009 Columbus Technologies and Services' Software Engineering Division achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration CMMI level 2 certification. 

Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes. CMMI helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes to result in mature, capable, and repeatable processes. Columbus' Software Engineering Division is a CMMI Software Engineering Maturity Level 2 appraised organization; at maturity level 2, requirements, processes, work products, and services are managed.
