Cooperative Administrative Support Unit (CASU) Contract

The CASU contract is a nationwide multi-agency contract hosted by HHS to provide solutions in IT, engineering, logistics, management and administration supporting customers such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Energy, Army National Guard, and Department of Interior.

In February 2007, a Columbus employee was presented an award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for his performance as a "highly motivated and productive research microbiologist"
Columbus professional staff address a wide range of technical challenges including developing, testing, maintaining, and operating numerous systems, networks, and software programs including:
  • Mission critical technical and administrative support to the Virginia National Guard in the areas of personnel, logistics, contingency planning and procurement
  • Engineering analysis and quality assurance for the Bureau of Land Reclamation
  • Plan research directions and provide scientific analysis of vector-borne infectious diseases (Lyme disease, malaria, etc.) for the CDC
